This series of motor is developed by our company(China Simo Motor) independently. It's a super high efficiency and energy saving explosion-proof three phase asynchronous electric motor. The coolant mode is IC411, the explosion-proof mark is ExdⅠMb ,ExdII CT4Gb and ExdⅡBT4 Gb, and it can replace ExdⅡAT1Gb, ExdⅡAT2 Gb, ExdⅡAT3 Gb, ExdⅡAT4 Gb, ExdⅡBT1Gb, ExdⅡBT2 Gb and ExdⅡBT3 Gb. This series of motor can totally replace YBE3 and YB3 series explosion-proof three phase electric motor.

Detailed Explanation of Corresponding Explosion - Proof Ratings:

 

Exd I Mb

Ex : It is the symbol for explosion - proof electrical equipment, indicating that the device complies with explosion - proof standards.

d : It represents the flameproof type of explosion - proof design. A flameproof device means that the components of the equipment that may generate sparks, arcs, and dangerous temperatures are all placed inside a flameproof enclosure. The flameproof enclosure separates the internal space of the equipment from the surrounding environment. The flameproof enclosure can withstand the internal explosion pressure without damage and prevent the internal explosion flame and high - temperature gases from spreading to the surrounding environment through the joints or structural gaps of the enclosure, thus avoiding the explosion of the surrounding explosive mixtures.

I : It indicates that the device is suitable for the explosive environment in coal mines. The main explosive gas in coal mines is methane (CH₄).

Mb : It is the equipment protection level. Mb - class equipment is suitable for use in coal mines. It can ensure safe operation under normal operation and expected fault conditions. Even in case of a fault, it will not cause the explosion of methane, and can be used for important equipment such as the main ventilation fans in coal mines.

Exd II BT4 Gb

Ex : It is also the symbol for explosion - proof electrical equipment.

II : It indicates that the device is suitable for explosive gas environments other than those in coal mines, that is, it is industrial explosion - proof equipment for factories.

B : It belongs to gas group B. The representative gas in gas group B explosive gas mixtures includes ethylene (C₂H₄). Its maximum experimental safe gap (MESG) is 0.9mm > MESG ≥ 0.5mm, and the minimum ignition current ratio (MICR) is 0.8 > MICR ≥ 0.45.

T4 : It is the temperature class. It means that the maximum surface temperature of the device does not exceed 135°C. Different temperature classes correspond to different maximum surface temperature limits of the equipment to prevent the surface temperature of the equipment from being too high and igniting the surrounding explosive gas mixtures.

Gb : It is the equipment protection level of Gb - class. Gb - class equipment is suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2. Zone 1 refers to an environment where explosive gas mixtures may occur during normal operation; Zone 2 refers to an environment where explosive gas mixtures are unlikely to occur during normal operation, and even if they do occur, they only exist for a short time.

Exd II CT4 Gb

C : It belongs to gas group C. The explosive gas mixtures in gas group C are more dangerous. The representative gases include hydrogen (H₂), acetylene (C₂H₂), etc. Its maximum experimental safe gap (MESG) < 0.5mm, and the minimum ignition current ratio (MICR) < 0.45.
