AC auxiliary motors specifically designed for railway locomotives and EMUs are used in diesel and electric locomotives to drive hydraulic pumps, blowers, axial fans, cooling fans, air compressors, and other auxiliary machinery.
These motors comply with the Chinese railway standard "Basic Technical Specifications for Three-Phase Induction Motors of Rolling Stock" TB/T1608 or other specific technical requirements. They are designed to withstand the impact and vibration encountered during normal operation of locomotives and EMUs, and can operate reliably when the rolling stock is exposed to rain, snow, wind, and sand. They are suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to 50°C (or as specially required) and altitudes not exceeding 2500m (or as specially required).
The basic enclosure protection rating is IP44, but it can also be manufactured to other protection ratings such as IP54 or IP55 according to user requirements.
The motor structure and basic mounting arrangement are IMB3, IMB35, and IMV1. Other mounting arrangements can also be manufactured based on user needs.
When viewed from the shaft extension end, the motor terminal box is located on the right side of the frame. It can also be manufactured to be located on the left side or the top of the frame as required by the user.
The motor's rated duty cycle is S1 or S4.
The motor's rated frequency is 50Hz, and its rated voltage is 380V. Special rated voltage and frequency points can also be manufactured according to user requirements.
Oil filling and draining devices can be provided based on user needs.
A speed measuring device can be provided based on user needs.
