Simo Motor is one of the authorized electric motor manufacturer by China Ministry of Railways locomotive since 1980s. Depends on our own technical team, Simo has successfully developed a series of railway locomotive motors including YTP, ZTP, YBT, NTP and other special use series DC & AC motors for lubrication pump, ventilator, fuel pump, resistance brake fan, generator, etc. They are applied in famous HEXIE, FUXING and many other foreign railway and highway locomotives.
Moreover, Simo was invited to participate in the localization program of advanced foreign locomotives. In this program, Simo actively involved in the supporting work of auxiliary motors of CRRC Dalian FXN3, FXN3B, FXN3C, FXD3-J locomotive and CRRC Qishuyan FXN5 locomotive.
At the same time, Simo actively explores global market, and officially became a qualified supplier of GETS in 2015, and developed 100HP, 80HP, 47HP motors for them. In 2019, GET was acquired by Wabtec, and Simo was also transferred to be a qualified supplier of Wabtec.
