Z4 Brush Type Dc Motor

Simo Z4 series medium size DC motor is the most widely used DC motor series which applied in steel, cement, sugar, printing, machinery, metallurgical, oil drilling, rolling mill and other industries.

It has wide speed control, good overloading capability, great adaptation to different working ambient and very stable working performance.

Z4 DC motor (Center height 100-450mm) complied with small size DC motor standard series regulations in the people's republic of China machinery industry standard JB/T6316-92 "Z4 series DC motor technical condition".

Z4 DC motor (Center height 100-450mm) can be widely applied in metallurgical industry rolling mill, metal cutting machine, paper-making, textile, printing, cement, plastic extruder and other industry. It is suitable for situations that need wide speed control scope, electric dragging which overload ability not exceed 1.6 times. Constant power of weak magnetic upward speed control scope can be 1~3 times of rated speed for different specifications. Constant torque reduced and the armature voltage downward the speed control can be 20 r/min. The overload capability can be find in appendix A.

Z4 DC motor has more advantages than Z2 and Z3 series. It can not only supplied by direct current power, but also suitable to be supplied by static rectifying power. And the small inertia is smaller, dynamic performance is better. Z4 motor can suffer a higher rating of load, especially suitable for smooth speed control , high efficiency, automatic steady speed, sensitive control system. It has reached the international advanced level.

The duty of Z4 motor is S1, in area which the altitude not exceed 1000 meters and the ambient temperature not over 40 ℃, the performance of the motor will be same as the rating data in the data sheet. The insulation grade is F class.

If the rated voltage is 160V and supplied by single phase bridge commutator, the motor is supposed to be operated with an electric reactor. The external electric reactor's inductance value should be showed on motor nameplate. If the rated voltage is 440V, the reactor is not needed.

This motor is not only accord with national standard GB/T755《rotating electric motor technical conditions》 but also meet the requirements of Germany VDE0530 standard.

Z4 series DC motor adopts octagonal full lamination structure, which not only has high space utilization rate, but also can withstand pulsating current and rapid load current change when using stationary rectifier.

Z4 series DC motors generally do not have series excitation windings and are suitable for automatic control technologies that require positive and negative rotation.The center height 100 ~ 280mm motors don't have compensation winding. The center height of 250mm, 280mm motor can be made with a compensation winding as customer request. The center height of 315 ~ 450mm motor is equiped with compensation winding.

The basic cooling method is IC06, with external ventilation with blower; also it can be IC17, the cooling air inlet is a pipe, and the exit is a blind; also can be IC37 the cooling air inlet and outlet are pipelines. It has a variety of derived forms, such as self-ventilation type, with axial fan type, closed type, air / air cooler type. The required cooling air volume, air pressure, and fan motor power for each frame number motor are shown in Table 1.The protection grade of the whole motor housing is IP21S. The installation form of this series of motors conforms to the requirements of GB/T997 "Installation Types and Codes of Motor Structures". Except the axial distance (B dimension) of the foot holes, the dimensions of the motor are in compliance with IEC standards.
