The JR series motors are divided into two types: those with brush - lifting and short - circuit devices and those without brush - lifting and short - circuit devices.

The motors are not allowed to operate in an environment containing explosive gases or a large amount of dust.
Structural Description
The basic installation type of the motor is horizontal installation with a base and feet. All models of motors can be connected to the driven machinery by couplings. The motor uses a bilateral symmetrical radial ventilation system. The cooling air enters through the air inlets on both end covers. A part of the air blows through the end connections of the stator coils via the fans or blades on the motor rotor, and the other part of the air passes through the radial ventilation slots in the rotor core, and then escapes through the air outlets on the side of the base.
The ventilation system of the duct - ventilated motor is the same as the above.
The motor bearings are rolling bearings.
Viewed from the shaft extension end of the motor, the outlet box is on the right side of the base.
The JR series motors are allowed to operate at a reduced speed for a long time under the condition of reduced torque. If the load torque of the motor (when driving blowers, water pumps, etc.) decreases in a quadratic relationship with the speed, the motor is allowed to operate at a low speed for a long time.
