The medium - sized JR - series motors can drive various types of machinery, such as ventilators, compressors, water pumps, crushers, ball mills, cutting machine tools, transportation machinery and other equipment. They can be used as prime movers in coal mines, machinery industries, power plants and various industrial and mining enterprises. The JR series are three - phase asynchronous motors with wound rotors. The JR series motors comply with the technical specifications of the ministerial standard JB564 - 64. This series of motors is of the protective type. They can also be made into the duct - ventilated type according to the user's requirements. The protective motors should be installed indoors at an altitude of no more than 1000 meters, where the ambient air temperature is not higher than +40°C and not lower than 0°C, and the air is clean without corrosive gases such as acids and alkalis.
