SIMO ZTP-62 Train auxiliary motor
SIMO Motor of China is an enterprise specializing in the R & D and production of electric motors. The ZTP series motors are mainly used to provide power for auxiliary power equipment of railway locomotives, bullet trains and other vehicles. The ZTP - 62k is mainly used as separately excited DC motors, tachogenerators, fuel pump motors, etc. in diesel locomotives or bullet trains. SIMO Motor is a designated supporting manufacturer of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. Its auxiliary motors for railway applications are exported to more than 30 overseas countries, safeguarding the railway transportation in those countries.
The SIMO ZTP - 62k motor adopts a new type of fully laminated octagonal frame, which has high stator space utilization, small volume, small moment of inertia, good dynamic performance, and can withstand pulse current and high current change rate. This motor can withstand the shocks and vibrations generated during the normal operation of locomotives and EMUs, and can still operate normally when locomotives encounter harsh environments such as rain, snow, and sandstorms.

Horizontal, frame with feet (IMB3)
According to the needs of users, it can also be made into other installation types, single-shaft extension or double-shaft extension motors, and single-shaft extension motors can be equipped with tachogenerators or other speed measuring devices at the non-transmission end.
The position of the motor outlet box of IMB3 and IMB35 installation type is from the transmission end, on the left side of the frame (for the positive box), and if the user needs, it can also be on the right side of the frame (for the reverse box), or above the frame. IMBl0 and IMVl0 mounted motors do not have an outlet box.
The basic direction of rotation of the motor is regarded as counterclockwise rotation from the transmission end.
