ZKSL Air-Water Cooled 98-400KW Series DC Motors

ZKSL Air-Water Cooled 98~355kW Series DC Motors: The model with a center height of 315mm is a standard series of small DC motors as specified by the Machinery Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China JB/T 6316-92 "Technical Specification for Z4 Series DC Motors". The power range of the ZKSL air-water cooled series DC motors spans from 98kW to 400kW. Rated speeds include 1500, 1355, 1000, 900, 750, 680, 600, 540, 500, 450, and 360 RPM, totaling 11 grades. Rated voltages include 440V, 400V, and 160V. The excitation method is separate excitation with an excitation voltage of 180V. 

This series of motors can be widely used in various industrial sectors such as metal-cutting machine tools, rolling mills in the metallurgical industry, cement machinery, plastic extruders, paper making, dyeing and weaving, and auxiliary drives in food production.

The ZKSL series DC motors feature an octagonal, fully-laminated construction. This design not only offers high space utilization but also enables the motor to withstand pulsating currents and rapid load current changes when powered by static rectifiers.

The ZKSL series DC motors generally do not include a series winding, making them suitable for automatic control technology requiring forward and reverse rotation. A series winding can be provided based on user requirements. Motors with a center height of 315mm are equipped with a compensating winding.

The outline installation dimensions and technical requirements of the ZKSL series DC motors comply with IEC International Standards. The mechanical dimensional tolerances of the motors conform to ISO International Standards.

The standard degree of protection for the entire series is IP21S.

The mounting arrangements of the series motors conform to the provisions of GB/T 997 "Types of Mounting Arrangements and Code for Rotating Electrical Machines". The motor mounting dimensions comply with IEC standards.

The terminal box position, viewed from the drive end (non-commutator end), is on the right side of the frame (i.e., standard box). If the user requires the terminal box to be on the opposite side of the frame, please specify a "reverse box" when ordering. The standard motor has a single shaft extension. Facing the terminal box (standard box), the shaft extension direction is to the left. Double shaft extensions can also be supplied if required by the user. The standard direction of rotation, viewed from the commutator end, is counterclockwise. The standard drive method is via flexible coupling connection. The motor can also be used for drive methods involving a certain degree of radial force (such as belt or gear drives).

Depending on user needs, the motors can be designed to accommodate the attachment of accessories such as tachogenerators, pulse generators, centrifugal switches, and brakes. Specific requirements can be negotiated with our factory.
